Terms of Service

Article 1: Definitions

1. "Service" refers to the PetLog mobile application provided by the Developer.
2. "User" refers to any individual or entity using the Service.
3. "Developer" refers to crelve (Sole Proprietor).
4. "Premium Plan" refers to the subscription service offered within the App.

Article 2: Service Description

PetLog provides the following features:

• Pet profile management (name, species, birthdate, photo)
• Meal tracking (type, amount, time)
• Weight tracking with chart visualization
• Veterinary visit records (clinic, diagnosis, cost)
• Vaccination records and reminders
• AI-powered health insights (Premium Plan only)
• Data export to PDF/CSV (Premium Plan only)

Article 3: User Obligations

1. Users must use the Service in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
2. Users must not engage in any activity that infringes on the rights of third parties.
3. Users are responsible for managing their own devices and data.

Article 4: Pricing and Payment

4.1 Free Plan

Basic features are available free of charge, with advertisements displayed within the App.

4.2 Premium Plan

• Monthly Subscription: ¥500/month (auto-renewing)
• Annual Subscription: ¥4,000/year (Save 33%, auto-renewing)
• Premium features include: ad removal, AI health analysis, unlimited pets, data export

4.3 Payment Processing

• Payments are processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Subscriptions can be managed and canceled through iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.

4.4 Refund Policy

Refunds are subject to Apple's App Store refund policies. Please contact Apple Support for refund requests.

Article 5: Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the Service to transmit viruses or malicious code
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Use automated means (bots, scripts) to access the Service

Article 6: Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Service (including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, and patents) belong to the Developer. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes.

Article 7: Disclaimer of Warranties

• The Service is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied.
• Medical Disclaimer: PetLog is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. AI-generated health insights are for informational purposes only and should not replace consultations with licensed veterinarians.
• The Developer does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content.
• Users assume all risks associated with the use of the Service.

Article 8: Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of the Service.

Article 9: Service Modifications and Termination

1. The Developer reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.
2. The Developer may terminate a User's access to the Service if the User violates these Terms.

Article 10: Changes to Terms

The Developer may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Article 11: Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from or related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court.
